Let's go back to Week 2, Sunday, 3:04 PM, Nabil to the group: "Anyone wants drake maye or loveland lmk..they 🗑️." Three weeks later Maye threw four touchdowns for 39.46 and Asim had the receipts ready: "Sir your words are dangerous. You were getting smacked now maye has 4 TDS." This is the single most reliable law in fantasy football — call your quarterback trash in public and he will throw four touchdowns within a month — and I don't know why anyone still tests it.

The problem is everything that wasn't Maye. CeeDee Lamb scored 1.9 on a quad. Deebo Samuel scored 1.5 and then pulled a hamstring that'll cost him weeks. Colston Loveland 2.9. Will Shipley 7.8 and then a torn plantar fascia, which I had to look up and now wish I hadn't. Kenneth Walker was on bye. The non-Maye starters scored 40.7 combined, Bizzy scored 80.16, and Nabil lost to Gang Green by 24.08 while going 1-10 against the field. Thursday night's diagnosis: "Someone definitely nazar the hell out of my squad." Sunday's concession came at 11:54 AM, before the early games kicked off, which may be a league record for earliest surrender, and I say that as someone who has watched Asim concede on Wednesdays.

Here's where I have to eat something. Last week this column gave Bizzy the third-best ceiling in the league and called Lamb-Collins-Walker a December lineup. One week later: Lamb hurt, Deebo out, Shipley out, and the trade ledger that showed Nabil ahead now shows RamBam +24.30. I'm moving the ceiling to sixth, not lower, because the December argument is still the December argument if the bodies come back — and because Maye is suddenly part of it, which nobody saw coming, least of all the guy who tried to give him away. Eighth, down four. Next is the commissioner, and the trade-partner game, and I'd pay money to see the two of them not talk about it.

Bizzy scored 165.24, the highest total anyone in this league has posted this season, and the first time Nabil has cashed the weekly $100. CeeDee Lamb caught 17 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown — 32.8 points in his first game off the commissioner's roster. Kenneth Walker III ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns for 30.4. Nico Collins, back from his hamstring, caught seven passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns, 27.3. Drake Maye threw three touchdowns for 26.16 on the bench. Nabil's own read, mid-game: "Brah, its all nico."

The chat covered the rest. Arfan: "Tbh yall made @Nabil OP. Another blunder from the comish." Bazaan: "Cd eating." Kashir, to the commissioner: "So you decided to trade Ceedee cause he has a weak defense schedule you're a genius." Nabil, Thursday, before any of it: "Bro, rameel's team got better, we need an apology after week 6. Wait and see." The desk has placed the apology on a six-week hold.

The new formula is why the jump is five spots and not more. Bizzy is 2-2 with a 22-22 all-play record and points only 5.9 percent above the league average; the 165 is one week. The ceiling moves to No. 3 for the obvious reason: Lamb, Collins, Walker and Chase Brown is a December lineup with a Tyler Shough problem. Next is Gang Green, with Walker on bye.

Bizzy lost to Bazan 84.70 to 100.94, going 1-10 against the field. Benching Drake Maye worked: Tyler Shough threw four touchdowns for 23.8 while Maye scored 3.76 on the bench. Almost nothing else did. The 49ers defense, added at 2:13 AM Saturday, scored 0.0. Hunter Henry scored 1.0, TreVeyon Henderson 3.4, and Jonathan Taylor 8.2. At 2:58 PM Sunday Nabil conceded, "My team is shottt," and "Gg @Bazaan."

Then on Monday night came the trade: Taylor, Henderson and Emanuel Wilson to the commissioner for CeeDee Lamb, Chase Brown and Emmett Johnson. Nabil: "It was sad letting JT go but had to some cause my team trash. Hopefully helps both of us." Kashir's review: "two first rounders for JT basically, and Nabil got Nico on bench." Bazaan: "Cd n k9 on the same team 🥶." Bilal, for the record: "if Henderson doesn't go off it's a scam."

The drop from 3rd to 9th is steep, and most of it is the method. The preseason cushion is gone, and 11-22 all-play with 288.94 points is ninth-place evidence. The ceiling falls from 2nd to 5th: Lamb, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown and a returning Nico Collins make a December roster, but the quarterback spot doesn't. One week ago Nabil wrote, "Ayy i am still top 3..commish knows ball." Next is Ivan.

The Week 1 No. 1 scored 93.62 and lost by 40.26, and the autopsy is short: the top of the lineup gave nothing. Drake Maye posted 8.02 and now has four interceptions, halfway to his entire 2025 total. Colston Loveland followed his Week 1 goose egg with 0.8. Nabil's response was immediate and public — "Anyone wants drake maye or loveland lmk..they 🗑️" — a listing the desk notes was filed while both players were technically still his starters.

The backfield remains the whole thesis, and the thesis is fine: Jonathan Taylor 27.2, Kenneth Walker III 20.8, and TreVeyon Henderson's 13.6 return waiting on the bench. Nico Collins sat out with an injury; he comes back. This is why the drop is two spots and not five — the model of this roster hasn't changed, only the quarterback's willingness to throw to his own receivers.

Two other Nabil filings from the week deserve preservation: "J Allen should be 1st rd pick," an admiring note about someone else's quarterback, and a trade offer to the commissioner that was answered, in full, "No ty."

Nabeel spent draft night asking Mustafa for a WR2 and spent Monday night not needing one. Down nine entering the Kansas City game, he got 32.6 from Kenneth Walker and walked away with the win, first place on this board, and the league's most on-brand victory: the best backfield in the league doing backfield things. Jonathan Taylor added 23.6. The thesis is not theoretical anymore.

Now the fine print. Colston Loveland posted an actual 0.0 in a game his own offense scored 59 points, a fact Nabeel personally reported to the chat as evidence of Asim's kala jadu. Carnell Tate's box score said 5.8, but his usage said WR2: 86 percent of the snaps and a team-high 21 percent target share. The desk's advice from August stands — don't pay a trade premium for a problem that may be solving itself.

One asterisk on the celebration: TreVeyon Henderson is already hurt, which thins the one room Bizzy cannot afford thinned. Also, Baker Mayfield outscored Drake Maye from the bench, which means nothing, and will be mentioned anyway.

Nabeel finished the draft, looked at his roster, and posted in the chat that he needs a WR2 and Mustafa should "be ready to make a trade." I appreciate a manager who does my job for me.

He's right, and it barely matters. Jonathan Taylor, Kenneth Walker, and TreVeyon Henderson is the best running back foundation in the league, and in a format where eight of twelve make the playoffs and every playoff round is one week, an elite floor with two bell-cows is how you end up still playing in late December. Nico Collins is a real WR1. Drake Maye at 6.09 was the best quarterback timing in the draft.

After Nico, the receiver room reads Carnell Tate, Alec Pierce, and hope. Loveland is a genuinely interesting rookie tight end bet. Rachaad White at 93, against a market price of 130, was the one pick I'd take back.

Second on the board, and in the league's worst bargaining position: everyone knows exactly what he needs, everyone knows he knows, and Mustafa reads this website.
